CIT is happy to provide Farsi interpreters in the Sacramento area. The Farsi language is spoken by thousands of people in Sacramento. CIT provides certified Farsi interpreters along with interpreters and translators of many other languages in Sacramento. Farsi, the language of Iran, is rather popular in the Sacramento area. Our clients seek our professional help in many areas, such as medical, legal, personal, voice-overs, tour guides, and more in the Farsi language. We continue to provide the best and most professional translators and interpreters. Our clients continue to be happy with our services.

The Farsi Language

Farsi is the native language of Iran, spoken by over 110 million people worldwide. The Farsi language is a form of Arabic and part of the Indo-European languages. There are several dialects of the Farsi language as well, depending on the area of Iran the dialect is spoken. Farsi can also be referred to as Eastern Persian (more known as Dari Persian or Afghan Dari), which is spoken in Afghanistan. Additionally, depending on the location of the city in Iran, there are different accents. For example, a Shirazi accent can be detected as different from a Tehrani accent. Some may feel the Tehrani accent is the most genuine of the Iranian accents.

The Farsi language has gone through several name changes. With that came different pronunciations and rules. Farsi, formerly known as Persian, had gone through phases such as Old, Middle, and New Persian.

Outside of Iran, California has the largest population of Iranians. This includes a large Iranian community in Sacramento. The Iranian community in Sacramento has become close-knit, creating programs for the community, including professionals and young Iranians.

To Our California Interpreting Clients: CIT Employees Certified CAL. EVID. CODE § 754 Translators

There are approximately 10,000,000 (ten million) people who have hearing loss in the United States, and it’s estimated that about 1,000,000 (one million) of them are considered functionally deaf. As a result, The 1990 Americans with Disabilities Act requires businesses to accommodate these disabilities by making reasonable accommodations for normal day-to-day communication needs such as providing sign language or captioning during remote video meetings so those participating can communicate more easily.

The ability to reserve a certified sign-language interpreter is of paramount importance. Our professional courteous and experienced interpreters are the logical choices in facilitating communications between the hearing enabled, people who are deaf or hard-of hear, they can also help those that have limited speech due to medical conditions like paralysis caused by stroke
or ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis).
